Dr. Alok is a direct descendant of Mandan Mishra, the legendary contemporary of Adi Shankaracharya (800 BC). This legacy of philosophical inquiry (Gyan) and selfless service (Seva) forms the core of his work in modern disability reform.
The Formative Years
Beginnings in Purnea
Dr. Alok’s journey began in Bihar. Nurtured by his parents’ love, a foundation for a life committed to compassion was laid early on.
The First Guru
Commenced education at Aadrash Madhya Vidyalaya. His uncle, Sh. Vedanand Mishra, served as his first mentor, fostering a deep love for structured learning.
Ideals of Sarvodaya
Immersion in Sarvodaya Buniyadi Vidyalaya exposed him to the ideals of “Universal Uplift,” which remains the guiding light for the Manovikas mission today.
Aarambh Early Intervention
Early intervention is not just about therapy; it is about restoring hope. Aarambh focuses on the critical window of child development, providing families a scientific roadmap from the very start.
